Artist's Description

A sign of the times, established in 1880, honoring and remembering those pioneers and miners and their families at this peaceful resting place at the pioneer cemetery at Carbonado, WA. Many miners were killed in an explosion at the Burnett Mine in this same general area, so the date of death was repeated many times on many tombstones. There could be no resting place as beautiful for these residents, and the crafting of these tombstones is incredible.

At times I find myself dangling from cliffs, hanging onto branches, lying in the middle of a road, straddling a barbed-wire fence, even driving down the road (I know...inattentive driving!), all for the love of art... 'Live' musician photo art is one of my faves and I create a yearly Pac NW Musicians calendar on this subject. I also have published "'Live' Musicians Photography & Art" on blurb.com, a colorful book of some of my favorite abstracts of musicians. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it. In addition, I created a custom color calendar using my Foster's Bighorn Cafe...
