Photographer/Artist Sadie Reneau has just completed a new photography series dealing with stump and driftwood art. Her art was obtained in the midst of canoeing in lakes near Mt. Rainier, WA in addition to ocean beaches on Rte. 101 near Forks, WA. This was a precarious venture, maneuvering the canoe around these amazing natural art exhibits of Mother Nature. If the wind was blowing, it took several attempts to complete her quest of capturing this natural beauty on camera as she and her cohort canoed around and around each stump. Many of these incredible artistic stumps have small insects and spiders setting up camp out in the middle of the lake, with evidence of amazing spider webs leading off to another stump or the bank of the lake. And of course some stumps exhibited feathers from birds who had nested on them. It is a beautiful, amazing world that many people cannot access, so she hopes to enlighten those of you here with her new photography series. Thank you for your interest.

With the holidays upon us you may want to take a gander at my ongoing art collection at the 'Around the Corner Cafe' in quaint, peaceful Orting, WA, a lovely small town resting in the shadows of the majestic Mt. Rainier. I have many photography and art pieces hanging there -- some of it for the purpose of entertaining, some for profit, and some due to lack of space on my walls at home...
The food is so excellent, the prices are so reasonable, and the staff are so friendly that you'll want to keep coming back. Hope to see you there! The address is 'Around the Corner Cafe', 301 Harman Way So., Orting WA 98360, 360-893-1934. It's just across the street from Orting Eagles hall. Happy holidays!

Sadie Reneau is a photographer who is especially fond of travel in and around the Pac NW, especially Route 101 leading to the Washington Rain Forest and Forks, WA area. Her latest photographic series includes the famed "Twilight" revelation in the small, sultry town of Forks, WA, a place which has been transformed from logging town into a vampire haven. Her thoughts are that if you are unable to make the journey to this famous spot, you might at least wish to see her photos revealing the vampire phenomena arising out of the famed books and movies of the "Twilight" saga.
