Artist's Description

This stately cable-stayed bridge spans the Thea Foss Waterway in Tacoma, WA. It opened January 1997 and is one of only 13 such bridges in the nation. The twin towers of the bridge are 180' tall and the two spans total 707 feet. The earliest examples of this type of bridge were built after WWII.

About A L Sadie Reneau

A L Sadie Reneau

Hello. I'm an artist with camera/computer/artistic eye...I figure anyone can take a photograph -- it's what they do with it that makes it art. At times I find myself dangling from cliffs, hanging onto branches, lying in the middle of a road, straddling a barbed-wire fence, even driving down the road (I know...inattentive driving!), all for the love of art... 'Live' musician photo art is one of my faves and I create a yearly Pac NW Musicians calendar on this subject. I also have published "'Live' Musicians Photography & Art" on blurb.com, a colorful book of some of my favorite abstracts of musicians. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it. In addition, I created a custom color calendar using my Foster's Bighorn Cafe...
